What we collect
When you log in with Spotify, we store your Spotify ID, display name, email (if Spotify shares it), avatar, and an encrypted access/refresh token pair used to create and update playlists on your behalf. We also store the content you create: events and edits you submit, votes you cast, community setlist submissions, and the Spotify playlists Setora has generated for you.
Why we collect it
To authenticate you, generate and manage Spotify playlists on your behalf, and power community features like event editing, "were you there?" setlist submissions, and voting — where your display name is shown alongside your contribution for accountability.
Third parties
We share data with Spotify (to authenticate you and create playlists), and read (but don't send your personal data to) setlist.fm and MusicBrainz to source setlist and band data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your login, personal playlists, and access tokens are removed immediately. Community contributions — events, edit history, setlist submissions — remain, since they're shared with everyone who views that event, but are no longer attributed to you: your name on them is replaced with "Deleted user". Deleting your Setora account does not revoke Setora's access on Spotify's side — disconnect Setora from your Spotify account's connected-apps settings as well.
Your rights
You can download a full export of your data, or delete your account, at any time from Settings. If something you submitted is wrong, you can edit it directly — event details, lineups, and setlists are community-editable.
